One Spirit of Love- CP 151

Many are the wonders of God, many doors open wide,

many roads that are still untraveled.

Many are the gifts that we share; many burdens we bear,

many mysteries still unraveled.

Many gifts, one spirit of love, one spirit of love.

Many gifts, one spirit of love, one spirit of love.

Some will be the teachers of life, some the preachers of love,

some the fathers and some the mothers.

Some will be the ones who will care; some will listen and share,

serving God while they serve each other.

Many gifts, one spirit of love, one spirit of love.

Many gifts, one spirit of love, one spirit of love.

Living as the body of Christ and the heart of the earth

and the hands that will break new ground,

celebrate the gifts from within; now it’s time to begin.

God’s people can turn the world around now.

Many gifts, one spirit of love, one spirit of love.

Many gifts, one spirit of love, one spirit of love.

One spirit of love, one spirit of love.

They’ll Know We Are Christians- 494

We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord,

we are on in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord,

and we pray that all unity may one day be restored:

And they’ll know we are Christian by our love, by our love,

yes, they’ll know we are Christians by our love.

We will walk with each other, we will walk hand in hand,

we will walk with each other, we will walk hand in hand,

and together we’ll spread the news that God is in our land:

And they’ll know we are Christian by our love, by our love,

yes, they’ll know we are Christians by our love.

We will work with each other, we will work side by side,

we will work with each other, we will work side by side,

and we’ll guard each one’s dignity and save each one’s pride:

And they’ll know we are Christian by our love, by our love,

yes, they’ll know we are Christians by our love.

All praise to the Father, from whom all things come,

and all praise to Christ Jesus, God’s only Son,

and all praise to the Spirit, who makes us one.

And they’ll know we are Christian by our love, by our love,

yes, they’ll know we are Christians by our love.

One Bread, One Body- 393

One bread, one body, one Lord of all,

one cup of blessings which we bless.

And we, though many throughout the earth,

we are one body in this one Lord.

Gentile or Jew, servant or free,

woman or man, no more.

One bread, one body, one Lord of all,

one cup of blessings which we bless.

And we, though many throughout the earth,

we are one body in this one Lord.

Many the gifts, many the works,

one in the Lord of all.

One bread, one body, one Lord of all,

one cup of blessings which we bless.

And we, though many throughout the earth,

we are one body in this one Lord.

Grain for the fields, scattered and grown,

gathered to one, for all.

One bread, one body, one Lord of all,

one cup of blessings which we bless.

And we, though many throughout the earth,

we are one body in this one Lord.

We Gather Together- 276

We gather together to ask for God’s blessing,

to turn to a wisdom surpassing our own;

the pow’rs that oppress us now cease to distress us.

O God, be present with us, and make your will known.

Beside us to guide us, O God, we perceive you

ordaining, maintaining the power of life.

Yes, yours be the glory; let all tell the story.

Our God, be ever with us, in gladness and strife.

May all sing your praises, Redeemer triumphant,

defend us, befriend us, whatever may be.

May your congregation escape tribulation.

Your name be praised forever, O God, make us free!
